It’s starting from the school scp crossing and it’s all the way down to kenleigh drive the worst part is top end as there walking down the rain is not draining away down the street and building up and cars don’t slow and just don’t care bout the parents or children I’m getting a lot off kids and adults complaining about this now and as winter and bad weather comes in it’s only going to get worse I have a standing puddle on my crossing as seen in the picture more rain it’s harder for parents and children to get over and also cars drive in it and I’m getting splashed

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment road gullies may not be able to drain away into watercourses which are full or backing up, including sewers. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Rest assured that we will be inspecting all drains and gullies in the near future. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
