The soil, plus debris from trees ( falling leaves twigs and small branches ) falling and being washed into drain causing it to block continuously this causing the public footpath and entrance to the hall premises to flood under several inches of water. Not only do the people that use the hall face difficulty and several inches of standing water but also the general public as well as school children and special.needs young and adults attending county care wich is situated next door to.the WI Hall too. The issue is further exasperated by the fall of the the tarmac from the Road to the hall car park/ entrance. This forms a V shape/ dip.for the water to form a large pool of water on the footpath. This has been and still is a major ongoing problem for several years.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
