Pavement in front of driveway to 55 barrowby road
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 11:54, Wednesday 2 October 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2819574.
Tarmac has gradually degraded over last 20 years. This year it's failed completely and the base course of aggregate is now breaking away. Surface is loose and member of public will slip on the gravel. Now a drop of 30mm between a newer tarmac patch and the original base course. Entire area needs removing and retarmac before the winter makes it more dangerous

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
