Clay Lake. Access to Claylake produce park by HGV
Reported via desktop in the Sign (lit) category anonymously at 12:10, Fri 4 October 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2819796.
Traffic Management Signs Clay Lake Installation.
Prevent lorries travelling along Clay Lake and southwards to Clay Lake Produce Park, and vice versa. Articulated lorries are too large to use this route. Rigid lorries and school buses will necessarily need to use this routeā¦.currently they do so safely. Articulated lorries should approach the Produce Park using the lane past the scrap yard from the A16. This is a much less busy road with no parked vehicles. At the exit from Clay Lake Produce Park, articulated vehicles should be directed to turn LEFT and proceed to the A16

This was not to do with a broken sign. More to do with a lack of signage. You need to stop the enormous articulated lorries travelling on Clay Lake, from Stonegate. There is no road space. Please stop the big lorries. An example is the haulier Turner. There are others. Please let me know action is underway, by 30 Nov 24. Thank you.

Good morning. By way of update, there are still very large articulated lorries travelling along this road. Please san you place clear signage to prevent HGV s. Recent examples are Turners and Hz Logistics. Traffic leaving Clay Lake Produce Park should travel directly to join the A16. Please make this happen. Thank You.
