Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2819815.

Thank you for the update on closed log 2816304. The tree has still not been removed. The tree is fully blocking a Public Right of Way. As a result damage is being caused to neighbouring land by people trying to navigate the blocked path. This is a urgent health and safety issue. Please can you confirm if Lincolnshire County Council are responsible for the maintenance of Public Rights of Way? If LCC are not responsible please can you confirm the method and date of when the landowner was contacted about the tree as previously stated.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
