Non-reported road closure
Reported via iOS in the Problem at other roadworks category anonymously at 19:13, Friday 4 October 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2819852.
Bank Lane is not closed on the official LCC roadworks website, though the road remains closed and blocked due to scaffolding on an adjacent property
To begin these roadworks were never reported and it now seems they have overstayed their permit.
This road closure is causing significant traffic issues for local road users.

The scaffolding is still up. This feels like the council are being fobbed off
This scaffolding first went up without notification and without being registered with LCC Road Closures and is now at least 4 weeks over its original permit.
Please let the residents know what action has been taken or will be taken. It cannot be that someone can just close a road for what feels like an indefinite period and cause inconvenience.
Will a fine be issued?
