I am writing to address the recent request to cut back the hedge bordering my property, which was believed to be protruding into the road. Upon inspection, I found that the hedge was well within the threshold set by Lincolnshire Council. However, in the interest of being a good citizen, I have further trimmed the hedge, ensuring that it is now positioned 4 feet away from the road, with no obstruction to visibility.
The hedge has been cut up to the point where our boundary ends. Additionally, I would like to note that the road curves naturally in this area, and as such, drivers need to be aware of this curve rather than attributing any visibility issues to the hedge.
Could you kindly confirm in writing that this matter is now resolved?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
