Fishpool Dyke , Church Lane South Witham NG33 5PL

Reported via desktop in the Damaged/missing boundary markers category by Helen Sandon at 15:43, Wed 9 October 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2820303.

Following a car ending up in the Dyke on the 11.7.24 and damaging the barriers / posts , as reported under ref 2812112, this is now reported as a closed case by LCC/ fixed. However NO new posts have been supplied and all that has been done is for the broken rails/lumps of concrete to be removed. Therefore there is still a need for more white posts to adjoin the path and meet by the bridge, as was originally there. There is nothing to stop a “slow driver” from entering the dyke on the corner. Please can you revisit this matter urgently , as South Witham Parish Council feels this is a safety issue and at least 5 posts are still missing at this location. thank you ,Helen Sandon, Clerk to SWPC
