B1356 from Milestone Lane to Cuckoo Lane

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 13:08, Thursday 10 October 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2820390.

The verge has been allowed to spread across the pavement, at points it is less that 60cms wide, not safe enough for the numerous people who walk it, no chase if you have dogs or a pushchair. Add in the over grown hedges in places, you have to step off the pavement on to the very busy road where you can encounter lorries and lots of traffic clearly exceeding the 50mph speed limit.

  • Thanks for letting us know about this path. We’ve had a look and put the path into the siding programme of works. That means the path will be cleaned up and put back to it’s full width. It may take some time to complete these works as they will be put in the programme to be carried out during the winter, so please bear with us. Thank you for reporting this matter.
