High Street Fiskerton.

Reported via mobile in the Visibility at junction or bend category anonymously at 12:17, Tue 22 October 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2821430.

Not too sure which section ro make these comments, hope they reach the right desk. I am concerned about the increased number of HGVs coming through our village. High street near the church = road narrows with a sharp blind bend. High street near Nelson Road = another very sharp bend. Ferry Road = residential area with possible future development likely .Just too many HGVs on a daily basis. I am sure there is nothing illegal in the number of vehicles and l am sure they stick to the speed limits .l am just trying to reduce the risk of serious accidents. 1. Are there any regulations which can impose a weight/ size limit on vehicles through our village 2 . Other suggestions from worried residents include traffic lights or some sort of one way system ?? 3.warning signs where the road bends and narrows.? 4. Suggestions that Sat.nav. systems route vehicles from Wragby/ Bardney area .through Fiskerton as the shortest way to the bypass ?

In conclusion the church corner is the most worrying aspect with an accident waiting to happen.
