Explanation not required, just view the images. This pothole has been reported that many times and for some unknown reason the council had not acted. The council is on notice to repair this urgently. A serious accident will happen here if not repaired and with the river along side!!!!!

You cant make this up. The potholes on our lane within hours have been marked out in yellow. Thank you for that although it doesnt mean they will be repaired quickly but forever hopeful. Now to this major pothole which is a danger to life & limb and this isnt an exaggeration, it hasnt been marked out. If the council dont act on this report and to the many others and there is an accident then someone at the department responsible will be held to account.

The issue is do the ''highways team'' realise how dangerous this pothole is and the potential consequences that inevitably will happen. I dont thnk they do, a box has been ticked so job done until its painted yellow but no repair!!

Now 6 days since this danger to life pothole was reported although you cant see it now as its full of water so even worse. No yellow lne has been painted round it as yet although when its done this will be left to fade no doubt. When there is an accident the council will come up a shed load of excuses as to why its not been dealt with!
