Continuing issue with these verges as reported many times. A few weeks ago the highways authority sent men to fix this issue. As usual the fix as on previous occasions was (no doubt at great expense again) to fill the ruts with soil. As can be seen from these new photos heavy vehicles/machinery traversing the verge have already returned them toa disgusting and dangerous state. Please fix them for good and prevent vehicles crossing the verges somehow. It really is remit of the responsible authority to keep wasting time and money on these temporary fixes.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
