Laceys Lane.
Reported via desktop in the Empty Grit Bin category anonymously at 13:01, Mon 18 November 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2823764.
The Grit bin was removed after it was reported that the bin was split and the contents had become hard,I was under the impression the grit bin was going to be replaced and refilled. A grit bin would be extremly helpful down the lane as there is a number of junctions and corners.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the damaged Grit Bin was discussed with the Parish Council and it was agreed to remove it as it does not meet Lincolnshire County Council Policy for a grit bin to be placed at that location. There is another grit bin at the junction of Laceys Lane/A52. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Thank you for the response, As much as I agree that there is one on the Junction of the A52, can I ask how are people ment to transport the grit down the lane? Are the Council going to provide a trolley or wheel barrow?
