Known blocked drain since roadworks carried out; you previously decided not to take action. In today's moderate rain / snow water is again across the pavement and into the back yard of the adjacent Almshouses. In any heavier rain this is going to cause water ingress to an Almshouse or into the communal boiler house which will leave all the Almshouses without heating. Please reconsider taking action to unblock this drain. Thank you

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Once again surface water is flooding down the road, across the footway and into the rear yard of the Almshouses. How's the 'investigation' going?

Thank you for your report. We've inspected and acknowledge that the gully/system is blocked and/or backing up at this location, we are currently planning a larger scale drainage improvement/jetting works order for Heckington village as a whole to clear the reported blockages at identified locations following the last cyclic cleanse and customer reports. At this stage we are unable to give a specific date for this to be undertaken, but it will be completed as resources allow, we are currently prioritising locations where water has entered properties and internal flooding has occurred so we ask that you please bear with us while until we can fully resolve this issue.
