Outside Chanson Lodge davids Lane Benington pe22 0DA
Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category by kevin pinner at 10:57, Wed 27 November 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2824657.
During any modest rain this part of Davids lane gets completely submerged. Traffic has to pass through it and hope that they do not drop into any of the broken verge sides that are hidden underneath. This tends to stay there for at least 12 hours after the rain has stopped. There are quite a few other areas down this stretch of Davids lane that do similar, to at least half way across the road, but this one is the worst

The County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains and watercourses can become overwhelmed. Should you feel your property is at risk your first action should be to contact the emergency services who will assess the situation and act accordingly. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
