Every time we have substantial rainfall, the road floods outside of our factory. As our car park is at the front of the building the muddy water is washed up on to the cars every time vehicles pass by and as the water contains small stones there is potential damage to the paintwork. The issue is made worse by the rainfall from the building site opposite running into the road opposite where there is no drainage.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.
