Blocked drains on Horncastle Hill, Old Bolingbroke
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2825653.
The two drains shown are on the left hand side of Horncastle Hill looking up the hill, approximately 30 to 50 metres uphill from the public footpath sign on the right hand side of the road. This area is approximately 100 metres downhill from the entrance track to Dale Farm. One of the drains is overgrowing with grass which has seeded in the drain. The other drain is completely blocked with silt and is therefore flooded and unable to drain any water. Many/most of the drains in this area are blocked to a greater or lesser extent due to the unprecedented amounts of rainfall in the past 12 months..so ideally a proper survey of this entire Horncastle Hill area from the War Memorial at the bottom of the hill right up to the Asgardby junction about half a mile up at the top of the Hill (near the road closure/diversion caused by Badger Setts).
