17 Lindsey Drive

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 17:51, Mon 9 December 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2826065.

An increasing hole at the kerbside which fills with water. It becomes invisible to cyclists and motorists. In the winter it may freeze. During rain the water does not run away and may exacerbate potential flooding.

  • You have not considered my point that whilst it may not fit your criteria, it is, without doubt a danger to cyclists and motorist should the water contained in it freeze. Furthermore, there is the risk that since the water pools there, it will only increase the flood risk since heavy rain which we experienced recently cannot drain away as it should, thereby running onto my drive creating a risk of flood damage to my property.
