Reported via desktop in the Wheel tracks or ruts category anonymously at 15:32, Tue 10 December 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2826199.
Contractors working at number 76 are using this are as a car park and have damaged the verge and block the foot way making in unpassable. pedestrians cant use the opposite side as there is no footway , also the area is heavily mudded due to these ongoing works. This has been an issue for many months but is getting worse due to the weather and no cleaning taking place

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. The verge is highway and we are unable to prevent it being used by vehicles as a parking area. On our last inspection, we did not find any actionable defects. The road and footway will be inspected in the next few weeks and any safety defects will be repaired. The photo attached are a clear indication of the issue and they do not give us cause to carry out any enforcement action or make any repairs at the moment. Thank you for reporting this matter.
