We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this sign has been placed in this position since 2009, to minimise obstruction of the footway that would otherwise be caused by mounting the sign on two posts, and to remove the risk of collision with passing vehicles. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Why didn't you just remove it? Or why was it installed like that initially? Pointless sign award competitor!
