The tree in question certainly isn't dangerous but it is growing unevenly. There were numerous shoots at the base as well which were growing across the path at the base but I removed these. The rest of the tree just needs a tidying prune before the straggley branches get longer.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
