Road drain
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category by Michael Tedbury at 14:58, Fri 20 December 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2827276.
The issue is NOT fixed. Someone has attended and moved some of the soil/earth that has come OUT of the drain onto the grass verge. Following that there has been fairly heavy rain with water once again bubbling OUT of the drain. This water is the colour of slurry and could be from farm further up the hill. There was more rain last night - water still coming OUT of drain indicating blockage further down the road. This has not been fixed.

I am pleased that some action is planned. At the moment, for the last month the excess of water as previously see in my photo, has been unchanged. It simply does not drain away at all. It come out of my drain, along the road and down the drain outside no. 55 West Road. Surely this indicates that there is a blockage under the road between 57 and 55?
