Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2828125.
The drainage ditch running along the northern edge of the Hartsholme public football pitch/ park is not draining, and is causing the public footpath running from the Catchwater Drain to Skellingthorpe Rd to become flooded and to remain so for several weeks, even when there has been no recent rain. It is currently flooded. It has been like this for probably more than a year. Once flooded the path only remains passable by walkers creating a 'causeway' of branches etc through the mud. I would imagine that once the cause of the drainage blockage is cleared, it would mean the path would remain dry most of the time. I have been in contact with Jayne Flower at the Inland Drainage Board, who told me they would be able to help if the Council needed them to.
