Investigating
On boundary of Ropsley Rise Wood and highway
Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 15:53, Friday 3 January 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2828281.
Trees and hedge are overhanging the verge and highway, causing cars to move out into the centre of the road to avoid. This is particularly bad when snow falls and branches are then weighed down with snow. Also a safety issue for pedestrians/walkers.

In this instance we don’t intend on taking immediate action. Because our current resources are extremely limited we have to focus our enforcement on matters of a significant danger or nuisance to road users. We can, however, continue to monitor the site during our routine inspections and will review the situation. Thank you for reporting this matter.
