  • We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • Your reply is not helpful, The drain is blocked with mud from the tyres of the farm machinery which uses the road daily and is washed into this particular drain. The flooding that I reportted was not following a "severe event overwhelming a well maintained drain" it was normal rainfall failing to clear eficiently because the drain is blocked with mud.
