Entire width of road flooded on bend of Village Street. Water can be seen bubbling up from various drains in area. Water appears to be pooling because drains have insufficient capacity (or are possibly blocked) to remove excess water.

We have experienced a large amount of rainfall in a short period of time. We are prioritising reports where the flooding poses a risk to life or a significant risk of internal flooding.
In times of extremely heavy rain drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment roadside drains may not be able to drain away due to watercourses being full and backing up.
When the situation has returned to normal we will re-assess your report and may re-open it if necessary.
