  • The County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment gullies may not be able to drain away into watercourses and sewers which are at capacity or backing up. Should you feel your property is at risk your first action should be to contact the emergency services who will assess the situation and act accordingly. Thank you for reporting this matter.
