  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and – whilst it has deteriorated it does not yet require further action. As your report acknowledges, the defect is less than 40mm and would not generally be considered a safety risk. In the interest of saving our limited time and resources, please do continue to report faults that have deteriorated beyond this depth, or are located in high footfall areas, so that we can work more effectively. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action

  • This is a high footfall area, as used by cars, vans, lorries and cyclists, this is in the line a cyclist would use, so could cause injury / fatality if not repaired or at least added to your list to repair. Why, instead of admitting fault but not acting on it, don't you add this to a list of jobs to repair when in the area / time allows? Obviously this isn't going to repair itself, and will only get worse, those things are for certain.
