Pavement, kerb and road outside of 152 Dudley Road, NG31 9AD

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2829611.

The various bitumen patches on the pavement and road have been breaking up over recent years and have already caused tripping injuries. The cellar of 152 Dudley Road has been affected by water escaping through the cracks in the bitumen on the pavement through to the ground below. Please inspect this area and repair its numerous failings properly.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • I was so impressed to receive the notification that the work had been 'fixed' while I was away from the house today - and so utterly appalled to find that the problems I understood you were going to address (see my earlier photos) had clearly not been fixed. All that has been done is to drop and roughly tamp down maybe a shovel full of bitumen in just one of the cracked areas. Could you please urgently address why the other several issues that I have notified you of have not been fixed at all, and take action to resolve them, please. If the minimal amount of work that has been done has been done by external contractors, could you please advise me the of the cost that has been charged for it. Thank you.
