On Station Road, opposite the George Hotel, in the parking lay-by

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2829613.

In the parking area there is a depression in the road surface about 45 cms long by 25 cms wide. In the centre of this depression is a "slit" about 10cms long by 3cms wide. It looks like the area below the depression has subsided and caused a split in the tarmac. It appeared to have some depth to it, but I didn't have anything to measure it with and by the time I came back it was under a parked car. It looked like it had the potential for the whole area of the depression to collapse and thereby leave a substantial hole.
