Blocked dyke / drain causes water to flood across West Road during any significant rainfall.

  • We have run into a small snag with our investigation and asked the reporter to update this report with some more detail. Once this is received we will progress our investigation.

  • A drain that should run along the north edge of West Road on the western edge of Haconby is blocked. Consequently, as the photographs submitted with the initial report show, water floods across the road. This needs to be rectified so that water is drawn away by the drain. Additionally, water flooding across the road can present an ice hazard to traffic when temperature drop below freezing.
