Issue with direction on sign
Reported via desktop in the Public right of way category anonymously at 11:33, Thursday 16 January 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2830437.
There is an ongoing issue where the road sign looks like a "straight turn on onto John Adams Way", rather than full left turn. Therefore many, many vehicles are approaching the roundabout in the right hand lane (off Bargate Bridge), and turning left onto John Adams Way! For cars turning left, and finding a vehicle immediately out of know where on their carriageway who was in the incorrect lane. (It also is an issue if a cars off Bargate Bridge in left hand lane who decide to go onto Wide Bargate road). This is extremely dangerous roundabout, and the sign needs to be clearer. Needs investigation and monitoring please.
