All along the road
Reported via Android in the Road Markings category anonymously at 10:15, Sunday 19 January 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2830856.
The middle lane markings have worn away. You can see where the old ones were. It would help with it being a fast road 60mph. If these were reinstated so that lorries and cars don't drive down the middle of the road. Forcing others to slow down or almost have to off road to avoid them. As it is NOT a single track road.
All the way from the turning towards Colsterworth/ woolsthorpe to south witham I believe. This road is well used and when the A1 is shut the traffic comes through. With people not familiar with the area too.
The original lines have worn away or are now too dirty?
Thanks

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
