Road damage

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 12:21, Sat 25 January 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2831711.

It is not just one pothole it’s a problem with the full length of the street when they started the new houses in the old Wilson street the builder set up their site office at the end of Japan Road instead of Bowling Green Road The entrance to this end of the site was always closed so any HGV carry and heavy plant ad to come down Holiday Street turn left onto Van Road to enter the site. The effect of this is the whole of the road is totally uneven. I think underneath a concrete base the same with what Street used to be and these have moved causing a wash board. I have broken my front driver side spring driving down the road since it has been done I do not go out of town very often i’m not eating any big bottles that are on many of the counties roads. I think you need to come down and sort this out and it should rather be charge to the building contractors as the damage is done by their heavy vehicles coming in with materials and plant. I haven’t been haven’t been down the old Wilson Street whatever it’s new name is but I haven’t told that it is still worse than Haldane Street as the contractors have not finished the road off yet and is a total disaster
