Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 10:25, Monday 27 January 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2831902.
What is meant to be a footpath is covered in water approx 30mm deep. Footpath is overgrown with grass and very uneven. Needs a lot of attention to remove the foliage growing on it

Thank you for contacting us. The footpath mentioned in your enquiry no longer serves any practical purpose: since the closure of the railway station in the 1960s it carries virtually zero footfall and would represent very little service or value for money to the public. As with the majority of roads in the surrounding rural area, pedestrians use the carriageway with caution in accordance with the highway code. Thank you for reporting this matter.
