  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that Newton Marsh Lane is an unmetalled highway and, as a category 7 road, would not be maintained to the standards expected elsewhere on our network and as a general rule, works would not be carried out unless the defect was deemed a safety hazard to road users. We appreciate the inconvenience caused by the road closure at the opposite end of Newton Marsh Lane, but as you are aware we are unable to carry out repairs or disturb the site in any way until later this year due to wildlife protection legislation, and would ask that local residents bear with us during this time, and consider alternative parking locations if necessary until the matter is resolved. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
