• Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

• Thank you for your patience whilst this matter has been looked into by different departments. Following consultation with Legal Services and due to the nature of the land, and this being a footway, it isn't a simple case of selling the land to the customer. There would be multiple steps and consultations prior to any land being able to be purchased. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that the customer could or would purchase this strip of land. An Officer from the Highways Maintenance Team has been and assessed the area and the decision, as before, still stands. Using a risk based approach no works, at this time, will be raised. We will continue to monitor this site on routine inspections.
