Never gritted

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2833318.

Why is it the stretch of this road from the A15 turning to Spridlington village is never ever gritted. Spridlington village at the green/tree junction to Welton is gritted but they don’t go past the green to the A15 ever. Always left, never gritted in the last year.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because Cliff road, Spridlington is not on Lincolnshire County Councils Precautionary Salting Network and therefore is not salted or cleared as part of the Precautionary Salting process. Cliff Road is on the Severe Network and this is only salted or cleared in specific circumstance as laid out in Lincolnshire County Councils Winter Service plan. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • Sorry, my point is it is NEVER gritted, ever when all the other minor roads leading to it are. Seems they go round the triangle/tree at the junction in the village but never up to the A15. Please respond.
