Just beyond junction of Rowan Road and Newark Road

Reported via desktop in the Other road surface issue category anonymously at 11:04, Friday 7 February 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2833612.

There is a defect in the road that when HGVs and buses drive over it causes excessive vibration and shuddering to the nearby properties.

This is especially bad and is waking us up at night when HGVs speed along the length of Newark Road. Our house physically moves and rattles as the HGVs pass.

  • Thie image above shows the the repair for another job (Council ref: 2832940) and the actual reported defect, the crack in the road has not been fixed. The contractors parked their vehicle over the problem that was reported in this report and therefore missed the problem and haven't fixed it.
