Reported in the Pothole on pavement/verge category anonymously at 13:18, Friday 7 February 2025
Council ref: 4568419.
The precise nature of the defect was due to the subsidence of the road surface, the collapsed surface was uneven levels and had rough edges causing not only tyre damage but caused my wheel to crack due to the sudden drop in surface levels

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
