Sheriff way

Reported via desktop in the Problem at other roadworks category anonymously at 14:31, Sunday 9 February 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2833849.

All surface works done earlier is waste of money, stone chips/gravel used is making more noise when vehicles passing by since there, they also become loose, there areplaces without them now, what was the point to make more noise and pollution? there was nice road before and quieter, now ugly. Can you just make normal road not gravelled which is crished by vehicles and making more pollution? dust is everywhere more ofen now in my house than before that road was damaged by this surfrace. I request to reinstate this rad as it was before.

  • Nothing was done in accordance to your mail: *Improve Road Surface Texture and Skid Resistance: *Enhanced Safety: The application of aggregate improves the skid resistance of the road, reducing the risk of accidents, especially in wet conditions. *Surface Texture: It restores or improves the road's texture, providing better grip for vehicles. Seal the Road Surface: *Waterproofing: The bituminous binder seals the surface, preventing water from penetrating the road structure. This helps to reduce the risk of potholes and other water-related damages. *Oxidation Prevention: Sealing the surface protects the underlying layers from oxidation and aging, extending the road's lifespan. *Cost-Effective Maintenance: Budget-Friendly: Surface dressing is a relatively inexpensive maintenance technique compared to full resurfacing or reconstruction. *Quick Application: It can be applied quickly with minimal traffic disruption, making it suitable for busy roads. Extend Pavement Life: *Durability: By protecting the underlying layers from damage and wear, surface dressing helps to extend the overall life of the pavement. *Preventative Maintenance: It acts as a preventative measure, delaying the need for more extensive and costly repairs. Improve Road Appearance: *Aesthetic Improvement: Surface dressing can improve the visual appearance of the road, making it look well-maintained and new. Adapt to Traffic Needs: Tailored Solutions: Different types and sizes of aggregates can be used depending on the specific needs of the road and the volume of traffic it handles. The best one was:visual appearance

  • Improve Road Surface Texture and Skid Resistance: loose surface increasing skid risk,

Oxidation Prevention: Sealing the surface protects the underlying layers from oxidation and aging, extending the road's lifespan-just do proper surface please, when we will use the proper one then? Cost-Effective Maintenance: Budget-Friendly: Surface dressing is a relatively inexpensive maintenance technique compared to full resurfacing or reconstruction- not even half year and became loose and ugly, noise increased from day one. Quick Application: It can be applied quickly with minimal traffic disruption, making it suitable for busy roads-fast nut not good, would be need to be done more often- more money and pollution, traffic, noise. Extend Pavement Life: Durability: By protecting the underlying layers from damage and wear, surface dressing helps to extend the overall life of the pavement- pavements are destroyed and not fixed up where driveways are, some one blowed them off few days ago and ripped them even more. Preventative Maintenance: It acts as a preventative measure, delaying the need for more extensive and costly repairs-n once for long time as other normal surfaced roads exampled earlier: Tatershall Road/Sherwood Avenue. Improve Road Appearance: Aesthetic Improvement: Surface dressing can improve the visual appearance of the road, making it look well-maintained and new-photos say by themselves. Adapt to Traffic Needs: Tailored Solutions: Different types and sizes of aggregates can be used depending on the specific needs of the road and the volume of traffic it handles-this is not suitable for the application, it causes more noise, pollution, skid risk, vehicles bodywork chippings.
