Public Footpath in Wyberton Roads, from Bank down to Track

Reported via desktop in the Surface issue category by Nick Sermon at 18:12, Wednesday 12 February 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2834284.

The footpath signage was amended recently to create a new pathway between the bank and the track that runs down to the Wash. The issue is that the new pathway is on a fairly steep gradient and is earth & grass - it is very slippery after and during rain and is a slip hazard, especially if walking dogs. If this is not addressed people will ignore the new pathway and use the road entrance to the track which is planning to be used by construction traffic for the Outer Dowsing national infrastructure project - an accident waiting to happen!
