At the entrance to the quarry

Reported via mobile in the Mud on the road category anonymously at 18:35, Wednesday 12 February 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2834288.

There is slick shiny mud all over the road extending from the quarry entrance in both directions for over half a mile. Are they not supposed to use wheel washes before leaving site? This is not only a sliding hazard in this wet weather it's also covering vehicles in thick mud.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the carriageway is stained but there is no physical mud, therefore this does not represent a hazard. Thank you for reporting this matter.
