Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2834643.
These trees need pruning aggressively as the weight of the branches they are falling off along the public pathway and into my property and garage roof. This has been getting worse the bigger they grow. They have already destroyed three of my solar panels and because they are leaning towards my house in a strong northerly wind ( which we get many)it is getting a real worry and at some stage could cause a lot of damage. Because of their very large size they omit large amounts of debris and more than once have damaged my ride on mower. I hope this can be dealt with at some point.

Hi I've since spoken to some neighbours and I think I'm correct to say one of the trees has a preservation order on it. I think that one is an Ash tree ( correct me if I'm wrong ) That one hangs over my garage,, so if that is causing an issue I could live with it if really necessary as that wouldn't be as much of a threat to my house if that makes sense. It's the one next to it that is more of a threat.

I have had only one response from yourselves ever since I first reported the offending trees. Above is a photo giving the scale of the biggest tree. As you can see this will at some point collapse either on to my property or the road. A tree of the same variety fell in the farm across the road about 3 years ago. That luckily fell in his field. That was of the same height and probably same age. All I am asking for is for it to be maintained/ pruned back or whatever is needed. As a council tax payer all my life, I have never asked for anything from any council which I have had to fund. Until now! Maybe you could find the time and decency to reply to this message.

We acknowledge your concerns and have carried out an initial inspection. Whilst we won’t be taking immediate action, we are seeking specialist arboricultural advice and will arrange for any advised works once their assessment has been completed. If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. Thank you for reporting this matter.

That's fine, so if I am correct in saying the tree next my garage has a possible preservation order on it. That surely still needs maintenance. With regards to the other tree that hangs towards my property, starving light and spewing debris, surely there should reason why this tree cannot be either removed or reduced! I look forward to a reply to my ongoing concerns.

Still nothing of substance from yourselves. Where are we with this problem? You have not really given me any real information as to what your intentions are regarding the offending trees? What are the issues you have discovered? All I am asking is that you maintain these trees.
