We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. There is no legal requirement to illuminate bollards, provided they are of reflective rebound type, which these are. Due to rising energy costs, and Policy to reduce carbon wherever possible, Lincolnshire County Council wouldn’t light these bollards as an enhanced measure, unless there was a history of recorded injury accidents. We have assessed this location and will arrange for these signs to be cleaned, however we will continue to monitor on this our routine inspections. Thank you for reporting this matter.
