Pedestrian walkway/cycleway along Hawthorn road

There are a ridiculous amount of loose chippings on the lovely new pedestrian walkway/cycleway and also along the kerb side that will lead to premature blocking of the new drainage holes. For cyclists the chippings are a problem, so much so I reluctantly carried on my journey on the road. The photo doesn't really show how bad it is.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
