We acknowledge your concerns and have carried out an initial inspection. Whilst we won’t be taking immediate action, we are seeking specialist arboricultural advice and will arrange for any advised works once their assessment has been completed. If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. Thank you for reporting this matter.

I have had the tree inspected by Troy Jeffrey (T+T Trees) who is an arborist and he would like permission to carry out a crown reduction obviously at my expense, the tree blocks out a significant amount of light and drops a vast amount of leaves etc also some large branches have broken off into my garden. Mr Jeffrey thinks the crown reduction will make the tree more controllable whilst still keeping the tree. His phone number is 07961 793 075 if you needed to speak with him. Many thanks for looking into this matter for me and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
