Following Anglian Water’s repair works to a burst water main, mud was left on the side of the road. This needs to be cleared before it blocks the gulleys causing flooding. Prospect Street outside 67-69 and 71.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because an officer has attended site and minimal mud is on the road and because of this there are no safety concern from Highways. We also attended after recent rainfall and no standing water was present on the carriageway which indicates the drainage system is fully functioning. Thank you for reporting this matter.
