Boultham Park Road. Both sides - Lincoln Avenue to Dixon St crossroads

Reported via desktop in the Uneven surface category by John Flynn at 08:20, Sat 15 March 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2838353.

I cycle this road each day, both sides. Road surface is usually cracked, sunken areas in lots of old patches, many potholes, terrible surface opposite Shammons garage. Might be best to advise cyclists not to cycle on Boultham Park Road .............

  • How much more deterioration can take place before Boultham Park Road is declared unsafe compared to other roads and 'standards' to be achieved and maintained?

I reject your update. Your update suggests that no action at all will occur on this road. That is negligent, surely.

  • HIAMP : you referred me to it. "Severe loss of chippings on carriageway surface" opposite Shammons garage. That surface needs curing.... only the County Council can do that work.
