Outside 4 & 5 West Bight
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 20:37, Saturday 15 March 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2838406.
Vehicles regularly block the road by parking on the narrow street between the Castle Hotel and the row of houses on West Bight. There have been occasions that residents of West Bight have been unable to leave or enter for this reason.
It is an immediate threat to life as ambulances or fire engines would not be able to gain access.
Since the rules around parking on the pavement have come into effect, this section of parking really should be scrapped entirely as for the benefit of the 4/5 cars that can park there, 20+ vehicles and a significant amount more of residents cannot access their properties.
The biggest worry is if there is an emergency!
